Troubleshooting & repair

Something’s not right: a breaker that trips every week, an outlet that died, lights that flicker when the furnace kicks on, a switch that has never done anything as long as you’ve lived there.

This is diagnostic work, and it rewards patience over parts-swapping. We find the actual fault — the loose neutral, the overloaded circuit, the backstabbed outlet halfway through the run — and fix that, instead of replacing hardware until the symptom moves.

What this covers

  • Breakers that trip repeatedly or won’t reset
  • Dead or intermittent outlets and switches
  • Flickering or dimming lights
  • GFCIs that won’t hold
  • Buzzing, warm faceplates, and burning smells — take these seriously and call

How it works

Describe the symptom in the quote form — when it happens and what else is running is genuinely useful. Small repairs are often same-visit fixes, and you’ll know the price before the work starts.

Straight answers

The questions we answer on every call.

Do you give free estimates?

Yes. Tell us about the job through the quote form or by phone, and you get a clear price before any work is scheduled. No visit fee, no obligation.

Are you licensed and insured?

Fully. Every job is performed by a licensed master electrician and covered by liability insurance — the license number is in the footer of this site, and we are happy to show current proof of insurance before work starts.

Will my job need a permit and inspection?

Panel work, new circuits, and most remodel wiring do — and that is a good thing. We tell you exactly what your job requires and quote with the permit and inspection in mind.

How soon can you get to my project?

Small service calls usually land within the week. Larger projects are scheduled once the price is agreed. If something cannot wait, call instead of filling out the form.

Do you handle smart home gear you did not install?

Usually, yes. We service and extend most major smart lighting, networking, and control systems, whoever installed them. If something is better replaced than repaired, we say so before touching it.
